The Hawksbill turtle was once the primary source of tortoiseshell, and the species is now critically endangered. This detailed sculpture has been handcrafted from welded sheet metal and floats on a stunning display stand, made with steel and jarrah sourced from the old Broome jetty.

A little bit of Broome comes home with this beautifully handcrafted sculpture. The original design was encouraged by the Aboriginal culture synonymous with Broome – and this artwork celebrates that rich cultural history.
